John NolanJohn has twenty years experience working in both the Public and Private Sectors working in areas such as retail, consumer issues, information technology and health and safety. 

Following a car accident in 1997 which lead to a serious back condition John found Mr William Doolin and Amatsu after having tried many conventional and alternative therapies. After experiencing Amatsu and the effects it had on his injury John recognised the potential of this unique and gentle therapy. After speaking to Mr Doolin about Amatsu and its Grandmaster, Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi, on many occasions John decided to train as an Amatsu practitioner and qualified in 2005. 

Since his initial training John has completed his Post Graduate Shinden Jutsu with Mr Dennis Bartram , Principal Teacher and Researcher of Amatsu. John was one of the first practitioners in Ireland and England to begin the study of Kenku Jutsu with Mr Bartram . He is currently training as a teacher of Amatsu with the Amatsu Training School of Ireland, which he will complete at the end of 2008. John is continuing his studies of Amatsu and other forms of Complimentary Therapies.

John was an active Committee Member of the Amatsu Association of Ireland  from 2006 to 2008 and is a Registered Member of the Amatsu Therapy Association (ATA), the Amatsu Association of Ireland (AAI) and the Complimentary Therapists Association.
