John has over twenty years experience working in both the Public and Private Sectors in the retail, consumer issues, information technology and health and safety areas.
Following a car accident in 1997 which lead to a serious back condition John found Amatsu after having tried many conventional and alternative therapies. After experiencing Amatsu and the effects it had on his injury John recognised the true power and potential of this unique therapy.
Since his initial training with the Amatsu Training School of Ireland John has continued to train and study with Dennis Bartram, Principal Teacher and Researcher of Amats Therapy. He continues his training with Mr Bartam partaking in Amatsu Masterclasses and has completed training courses in, amongst others, Shinden Jutsu, Kenku, Spinal Dynamics, natural body movement, ergonomics and Tibetan meditation techniques. John is also a qualified American Heart Association Heartsaver Instructor and a Cardiac First Response Responder Instructor.
John is a recognised Teacher of Amatsu and currently works with the Amatsu Training School of Ireland, Irelands longest running Amatsu Therapy training school. In 2012 he will be opening his own school offering quality training in this unique therapy.
John is a founding member and former Education Secretary of Amatsu Therapy Ireland, the Association for professional Amatsu Therapists in Ireland.
